Operating on a budget and maximizing purchasing power is a day-to-day necessity for non-profit organizations. CareLink’s Group Purchasing program is a smart business initiative focusing on quality, cost savings, and sound business decisions for our members. We manage all facets of purchasing, including sourcing state-of-the-art equipment and services to meet changing needs, monitoring usage data, requesting and analyzing quotes, and recommending the best solutions for each unique facility. We also renegotiate existing contracts to drive down costs and improve terms and conditions, so members can focus on providing the highest quality care to clients.
What Our Members Say
PACE Organization of Rhode Island has leveraged group purchasing for a variety of services. Cell phone purchase and usage rates are a need for many of our staff whose work requires them to be out in the field, throughout the state of Rhode Island. Now that we have 3 locations, our office supplies need to be delivered across the state. One experience that stands out above all others is the design, build, and outfitting of our newest location in Woonsocket. The Group Purchasing Manager was on hand throughout the year-long process of negotiating and securing all of the necessary items and services required for us to comply with state and federal regulations. CareLink’s Group Purchasing Manager made an onerous process easier to manage as a direct result of her stellar skill set and relationships with the various vendors. She also got the word out to CareLink members that PACE Organization of Rhode Island was looking to outfit rehab space at the new site. As a result of this appeal, we received several donations for the rehab area-treatment table, parallel bars, and rehab stairs. This opportunity would not have been possible had PACE Organization of Rhode Island not been a member of CareLink.
